Revision for “Testing the ‘private’ function” created on 15 September, 2009 @ 20:32

A number of folks have asked if we could have 'private' spaces for papers, with a limited number of viewers. It's a good idea. However it turns out that the easiest way is a bit limited, and all the other ways are far too complicated to work.

But we'll go with the limited and workable for now.

So. Select the "Write an Article" option from the masthead.
Title, Introduce, Acknowledge, etc.

In the "Publish" window, top right corner of the page, there is an option that says, "Visibility." Default value is "Public." There is a link labeled "edit." Click it.

Choose "Password protected." Enter a password. Remember it, if at all possible.
Hit "Publish"
Choosing "Private" means that only you can see it.
